Our Sunday School Children have prepared a program at the New Masjid site, followed by activities for both adults and children at the current building.

First portion of the Program will be starting at 11:15 until Noon at the site of the new Masjid (The corner lot at Brush Road and Chardon Road intersection – Parking available) 

• Parents to accompany children to the new site and bring children back to the current MACE building after the program. 

(PARENTS MUST TRANSPORT THEIR OWN CHILDREN TO AND FROM THE SITE, OR MAKE ARRANGEMENTS WITH ANOTHER PARENT; otherwise children can be dropped of at the current building)

• Quranic Program presented by School Children; Level K through Level 5
• Digging Portion of Program
• Each class of children (split boy/girl) to hold shovel and dig into the ground
• Recitation of Surah Yaseen by adults (parents may start transporting children back to MACE building)

• In MACE Building: Noon to 2pm, Lunch included

  ·        Carnival games style activities for children

  o   Face painting, water tatoos, crafts, etc.

  ·        Lecture for Adults & recite Surah Yaseen

A few reminders about the merits of Muharram and renewing our intentions to make the best of this year and the ones to follow inshAllah.

Muharram is the month with which the Muslims begin their lunar Hijrah Calendar. It is one of the four sanctified months about which the Holy Quran says, "The number of the months according to Allah is twelve months (mentioned) in the Book of Allah on the day in which He created heavens and the earth. Among these (twelve months) there are four sanctified".
